ANNOUNCEMENT
Event Details
Western Open: The Western Open, held on Saturday, April 27th, is the end-of-season meet for everyone who is not included in the roster for the Western League. This event provides an opportunity for all participating athletes to showcase their skills and improvements one last time this season.
Western League: Scheduled for Saturday, May 4th, this crucial meet is where the athletes listed in the Western League roster compete not only for recognition but also for the chance to move toward the IEC Meet. If your child's name is on this Western League Roster, they are strongly encouraged to participate in the Western League.
Practice Sessions: Please refer to the calendar for practice times and locations. It’s crucial for everyone to attend, especially now that we are relying on each other in our relay teams.
Team Picnic Banquet: Mark your calendars for the Team Picnic Banquet on Saturday, May 18th. The location is still to be determined. This will be a great opportunity for everyone to celebrate the season’s successes together!
If for any reason you decide not to compete in the Western League, please inform Head Coach Austin by tomorrow, Wednesday practice.

WELCOME
Welcome to Thimsha Youth Sports (TYS) Track & Field, a dynamic organization dedicated to nurturing a broad spectrum of young athletes. At TYS, we cater to everyone from the budding beginner to the elite competitor, ensuring that regardless of their starting point, each member of our Tiger family is equipped to tap into their full potential.
Our program embraces competitors aged 4 through 17, offering them a comprehensive introduction to track and field. Through specialized training and age-specific groups, our athletes refine their skills in a range of events, elevating their performance to excel in competitions. It’s important to note that to join our community, children should reach the age of 4 by December 31 of the year prior to participating.
Beyond the track, TYS is an ideal platform for athletes seeking to enhance their general fitness or prepare for other sports like soccer, football, and basketball. Our commitment is to provide a welcoming, secure, and energizing environment that motivates everyone to engage and thrive.
At TYS, success transcends the finish line. It's about character building, fostering communication, and setting goals that contribute to the growth of our athletes not just in sports, but in their academic and family lives as well. Together, we work closely with athletes and their families to set meaningful objectives, reinforcing the belief that dedication, intelligence, and consistency are key to unlocking true potential.
Our vision is to create a nurturing atmosphere where the lessons learned and the habits formed extend far beyond the track, shaping our athletes' futures in profoundly positive ways. That, for us, is the true mark of success
